1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Snooze website, services, or purchasing our VRChat worlds and assets, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

The Snooze provides premium VRChat worlds, assets, and community services. We create immersive virtual environments including nightclubs, bars, drinking games, and social spaces optimized for VRChat. Our platform includes:

• World showcase and discovery platform
• User accounts with role-based access control
• Discord integration for role synchronization
• Payhip license verification system
• Achievement and progress tracking
• VRChat name verification via bio codes
• Admin dashboard for community management

3. Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. Our content and community are designed for mature audiences. By using our services, you represent that you are 18 or older.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You are liable for all activities under your account.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Account deletion will remove most of your personal data, but some records (purchase history, audit logs) may be retained for legal compliance and fraud prevention.

5. License Verification & Role Entitlements

When you purchase a product from our marketplace partners (Payhip, Jinxxy, Gumroad), you may verify your license key on our platform to receive associated role entitlements and Discord role synchronization.

• License verification - You may verify each license key once. License keys are tied to your email address and account.
• Sharing prohibition - License keys are personal and non-transferable. Sharing or attempting to share license keys will result in revocation of access.
• Role grants - Verified licenses may grant you specific roles and permissions on our platform and Discord servers.
• Role revocation - We reserve the right to revoke roles or entitlements if you violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
• Discord synchronization - By verifying a license, you consent to role synchronization with our Discord servers. You can unlink your Discord account at any time.

6. VRChat Worlds & Assets License

When you purchase our VRChat worlds or assets, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them in VRChat. By purchasing, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that you meet the required knowledge level to use the products effectively.

Worlds License

✅ Allowed:

• Edit the world: Modify, import, or delete prefabs as needed
• Publish the world: Use it for clubs, events, or any other purpose

❌ Not Allowed:

• Sharing, leaking, or giving away files: If you wish to gift a world, use the gift option in our store
• Editing scripts: Scripts take time to develop. If there are issues, open a ticket in our Discord server or request permission. (Editing CyanTriggers is allowed.)
• Claiming the world as your own: You are not required to credit the creator, but do not claim authorship
• Exporting assets: Do not extract assets from the world for use in other projects
• Using product images: Do not use images from the product for thumbnails or other purposes

Assets License

✅ Allowed:

• Use assets in your worlds and projects (public or private)
• Include assets in a world you are selling (only if you have purchased the commercial license)

❌ Not Allowed:

• Sharing, leaking, or giving away files: Use the store's gift option for gifting
• Editing scripts: If there are issues, open a ticket in our Discord server or request permission
• Claiming assets as your own: You don't need to credit the creator, but do not claim authorship
• Using product images: Do not use the product images for thumbnails or other promotional material

7. Payment & Refunds

Payments are processed through our marketplace partners (Payhip, Jinxxy, Gumroad).

No Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any worlds or assets purchased.

Chargeback Policy

Chargebacks and payment disputes are strictly prohibited. Any attempt to initiate a chargeback will be disputed with proof of delivery, and the buyer will be permanently blacklisted from future purchases and support.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

8. Buyer Responsibility & Support

Technical Knowledge Requirements

Before making a purchase, buyers must have a basic understanding of Unity and VRChat world creation. The products provided are intended for users who are capable of importing, configuring, and publishing their own content.

Support Policy

Setup assistance or step-by-step guidance is not included with the purchase. If you encounter technical issues with the files themselves, you may open a support ticket in our Discord server. We will review and respond as time allows, but immediate or guaranteed support is not provided.

9. Patreon Memberships

Patreon memberships provide exclusive perks including early access, exclusive content, and community benefits. Perks are subject to change and may be discontinued. Membership benefits are non-transferable.

10. Community Guidelines

Our community is built on respect and inclusivity. Prohibited behavior includes:

• Harassment, bullying, or discrimination
• Hate speech or offensive content
• Spam or excessive self-promotion
• Sharing inappropriate or illegal content
• Impersonation or false identities

Violations may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent removal from our community.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to worlds, assets, logos, and website content, is owned by The Snooze and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

12. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

13. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, that our worlds will work with all VRChat versions or configurations, or that role synchronization will be instantaneous or error-free.

14. Role-Based Access & Permissions

Our platform uses a role-based permission system to control access to features and content:

• Role assignment - Roles may be assigned based on purchases, memberships, manual admin assignment, or other criteria.
• Role expiration - Some roles may have expiration dates and will be automatically removed when they expire.
• Permission changes - We reserve the right to modify role permissions, add or remove features, at any time.
• Discord sync - Roles may be synchronized with Discord servers. Discord role assignment is subject to Discord's terms of service and API limitations.
• Account bans - Accounts that violate these terms may be banned, resulting in loss of access to all roles and features.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Snooze shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.
